One of the more popular climbs, this expedition will give you the chance to experience all the different facets of climbing from river crossings and clambering over steep & rocky slopes to treading over snow and crevasse filled fields & gullies and negotiating ice walls requiring technical climbing skills. The approach views are stunning with magnificent views of the Pir Panjal range with the mighty Indrasan, Papsura and Dharamsura framed in the background. At an elevation of 6001m, Deo Tibba provides the opportunity to climb a 6000’er in under two weeks, it is definitely one of the must do climbs for anyone who has started his or her journey in this exhilarating field.
Duration and toughness – At a medium pace the expedition can take upto 2 weeks though experienced climbers can do it in 7-10 days. The difficulty level is dictated by the pace of the climb, however a good level of fitness is beneficial during the climb.
Season – April to June and September to October
Hanuman Tibba is a stunning pyramid shaped peak rising to a height of 5932m in the Dhauladhar Range of the Western Himalayas. Perched above the Solang Valley at the mouth of the Beas Kund glacier, the expedition offers unforgettable views of Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, and Ladakhi Peak among others. The climb is a mix of rocky cliffs and icy facades with the steepness can approach 70 degrees in some sections. Although a trekking peak during most of the season, the experienced climber can choose the colder months for ascending when the technicality levels increase due to increase in snow and ice.
Duration and toughness - At a medium pace the expedition can take upto 2 weeks though experienced climbers can do it in 7-10 days. The approach route to the peak is long and very steep in parts thus requiring a fair amount of physical stamina and endurance.
Season – April to June and September to October
At 6264m CB13 or Mount Chandrabhaga 13 is a majestic peak located in the Lahaul Massif on the Dhaka Glacier. Although it can be accessed from Manali, the approach is from Batal and one gets to experience the Lahaul terrain and see the Bara Shigri Glacier in all its mightiness. The climb is of a medium technical grade with approach through crevassed and rocky slopes. The climb offers stunning views of the Kunzum Range, the pristine Chandrataal Lake and the Dhaka Glacier
Duration and toughness – At a medium pace the expedition can take upto 2 weeks. Due to the rugged terrain a good level of fitness is required to enjoy this climb
